Home Site – Nelson County, Virginia

This Belmont home was built on the Union Hill property before 1856. It is located off of Mayo Creek Lane, about 1 mile north of Midway Mills on Rte. 743.

In his last will and testament in 1856, Joseph Carrington Cabell lists 12 adults and 2 children as enslaved persons at his Belmont Estate.
